What is Yoga?
Yoga is a system for bringing balance into your body and mind. It includes postures called asanas, breathing exercises, pranayama and simple meditation to improve mental focus.
What is your style of Yoga?
Over 30 different styles of Yoga have developed over 100s of years. My personal journey through Yoga started over 20 years ago before I even realised that the daily stretches I worked on to help with martial arts training were yoga poses.
During my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, we covered several styles of Yoga, including the ever-popular Hatha, Vinyasa flow and Ashtanga.
In addition to this, I have completed the 60-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training. This is a slower, deeper form of Yoga that works on connective tissues as well as the standard muscle stretches.
I am also a qualified Personal Trainer, Group Class Instructor and Strength Conditioning Coach and from all of this training, I put together classes that benefit students, both experienced and total beginners alike.
